Se entregaron los premios de la entrega número 70 de los Golden Globes (Globos de Oro), a lo mejor del cine y la televisión del 2012.
Para destacar de las nominaciones:
- "ParaNorman" no quedó nominada a Mejor Película de animación. "Hotel Transylvania" sí.
- Tom Hooper, director de "Les Miserables", no quedó nominado a Mejor Director.
- Quentin Tarantino con dos nominaciones personales (Guión y Dirección).
- "Kon-tiki" (Noruega) se cuela en la categoría Mejor Película Extranjera. A su vez, hay dos películas francesas compitiendo por ese premio ("Rust & Bone" e "Intouchables")
- "The Master",fuera de Mejor Película.
- "Beasts of the Southern Wild" sin nominaciones.
- "Lincoln" es la que más nominaciones posee (7).
